OECD raises US GDP growth forecast for 2025

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has updated its US Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth forecast for 2025, raising it to 1.8% from the previous 1.5%. The main driver of this revision is the strong growth in investment in the artificial intelligence sector. However, the OECD forecasts a slowdown in growth to 1.5% in 2026 due to rising tariffs and a decline in immigration.
